#copied Dear Parents, This might be uncomfortable. But your child is not the victim every time something goes wrong at school. Sometimes they talked when they were told not to. Sometimes they were disrespectful. Sometimes they didnāt try. Sometimes they broke the rule. And that doesnāt make them bad. It makes them children. What matters is what happens next. When every correction becomes a defense case⦠When every consequence becomes a negotiation⦠When every boundary becomes a personal attack⦠Children learn something. They learn that accountability is optional. They learn that authority is fragile. They learn that discomfort is unfair. Teachers do not enjoy disciplining students. It slows learning. It drains energy. It creates tension. But without boundaries, classrooms collapse. The goal isnāt punishment. Itās preparation. One day your child will have a boss. A deadline. A rule they donāt like. And no one will email home if they lose
We are so proud of two of our Grade 2 learners who participated in the World Read Aloud day celebrations on Friday 13 February. Jackson and Mary-Jean each read a poem at the celebration. One poem was all about family and the other one was about friendship. There were 25 schools from various districts participating. Well done to both of you!
